Indiana NOFAS (National Organization on Fetal Alcohol Syndrome), Inc. – is a not for proﬁt corporation and affiliate of NOFAS. We operate with an Executive Board and our Articles of Incorporation are on ﬁle with State of Indiana. As of 2017, we are an subsidiary of Mental Health America of Indiana.
Our Purpose: Indiana NOFAS, Inc. educates the public, professionals, and policymakers about the risk of alcohol use during pregnancy and FASD, the leading known preventable cause of brain damage, developmental disabilities, and birth defects, and a leading known cause of learning disabilities and behavioral problems in children, adolescents, and adults.
Our Mission: Indiana NOFAS, Inc. seeks to reduce the number of individuals born with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) as well as support individuals and families living with FASD.
Our Vision: A state where all individuals are born free from alcohol exposure.
