Sacs Special Education

Southwest Allen County School Corporation (SACS) operates a comprehensive special education program designed for exceptional individuals, ages 3-22, that fosters inclusive educational climates where individuality and diversity are respected, honored and celebrated.

The Southwest Allen County Schools (SACS) Special Education Department believes in providing a flexible system of leadership and support that mobilizes resources and services to assist students in achieving the same educational goals aligned with the district’s mission and vision for all students.

Operating in accordance with Indiana Article 7, SACS provides educational services for students with special education eligibility ages three (3) through graduation or turn age twenty-two (22). Programs supported are Early Childhood, Learning Centers (K-12), Skills Labs (K – 12) and Special Needs (K-12).  Most students in special education participate in a combination of general education and special education.
